When asked about serving on CATCH’s board of directors, Wade said, “Affordable housing is undeniably a critical issue facing our communities now and for the foreseeable future. Through my Board involvement with CATCH, I am hoping to make a positive impact to those in need.”

A long time champion of children and families, Wazir currently serves as a Case Manager for Ascentria and Church World Service. She previously served as a NH State Representative for Merrimack County’s 17th District serving on the Children and Family Law Committee and is a former member of the Head Start Policy Council.

Wazir remarked, "I'm excited to work toward solutions to the housing crisis on the CATCH Neighborhood Housing board. I hope I can leverage my experience working closely with New Americans and as a former state representative to look at innovative, equitable, and creative solutions and to be sure everyone's voice is heard in this important conversation about our most fundamental need for housing!"

CATCH President and CEO Tom Furtado said, “We are very excited to welcome Tim and Safiya to CATCH’s board. They each bring expertise and experiences that will be very valuable to CATCH’s leadership.
